The results of the latest edition of the Global Young Musicians Competition (GYMC) have been officially announced today, 3 June 2026.

A Broad International Field

The competition awarded laureates across several levels of distinction, including Platinum Award, Gold Award, Silver Award, Bronze Award, and Distinction. In total, 65 young musicians and ensembles were recognized in this edition.

The largest categories included piano, composition, and voice, reflecting both the strong tradition of classical performance and the growing importance of creative work among young musicians. The presence of chamber ensembles and composers also highlights GYMC’s broader mission: to support not only solo performers, but also collaborative musicianship and original artistic creation.

Supporting Young Musicians Worldwide

The Global Young Musicians Competition was created to provide young artists with an accessible international platform. Its online format allows musicians from many countries to participate without the financial and logistical barriers often connected with travel-based competitions.

Through awards, diplomas, publication opportunities, winners’ concerts, and visibility within the Universal Maestro Society network, the competition aims to support young musicians at different stages of their artistic development.

The Universal Maestro Society congratulates all laureates of this edition and thanks the participants, teachers, families, and jury members for their contribution to another successful edition of the competition.
